{"id":8,"date":"2024-09-28T00:51:13","date_gmt":"2024-09-28T00:51:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lmpinsights.com\/?page_id=8"},"modified":"2024-09-30T15:57:17","modified_gmt":"2024-09-30T15:57:17","slug":"test-home-page","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/lmpinsights.com\/","title":{"rendered":"About Me"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><a><strong>Contracts Consultant<\/strong> <strong>and<\/strong> <strong>Technical Editor<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have over thirteen years&#8217; experience in federal government contracting and over ten years&#8217; experience in technical editing and drafting proposals in response to federal solicitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The federal contracts consulting services I offer include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assisting in System for Award Management (SAM) registration;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completing representations and certifications (reps &amp; certs);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing document control procedures;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reviewing and advising on contracts and modifications;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), teaming agreements (TAs), and subcontracts (SubKs);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reviewing, planning, and outlining responses to solicitations&#8211;including requests for proposal (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs)&#8211;and Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFOs); and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reviewing and advising on statement of work (SOWs), statements of objectives (SOOs) and performance work statements (PWSs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The technical editing services I offer include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Advising on the level of complexity in relation to the intended audience;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blending the narratives of multiple authors into one voice;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Checking for accuracy, clarity, and readability;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring compliance with the appropriate style guide, including the American Psychological Association (APA), the Associated Press (AP), The Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS), and the Modern Language Association (MLA);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring consistent use of terminology, acronyms, and abbreviations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifying gaps or inconsistencies in content;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proofreading: reviewing grammar, sentence structure, spelling, and word choice;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reviewing for completeness and relevance of content;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reviewing organizational structure of a document;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verifying agreement between diagrams and textual descriptions; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verifying functionality of hyperlinks and accuracy of cross-references.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I will always put my full effort into every project.
